The group today.
Black Tier Capital began as an advisory business. It has since repositioned as an investment and acquisition group: rather than advising others on buying and selling companies, the group now acquires and invests in businesses itself and takes an active part in running them.
The focus is deliberately narrow — construction and building services, starting in and around London — so that every conversation with an owner is informed by how these businesses actually operate.
Redmeres Ltd is the group’s wholly owned commercial painting and decorating operating company, incorporated in September 2026. It is a new business, separate from the group’s acquisition conversations.
Led by Shaun Yendall.
Shaun leads Black Tier Capital and is the first point of contact for owners and introducers. His background is in running and turning around businesses — including Hall of Vape, where turnover grew from around £84,000 to around £650,000 — and that operating experience shapes how the group invests.
